KMS PTSA – Dave & Buster’s Power Cards
In order for the KMS  PTSA to continue to support  our students and teachers
with events like Students’ Movie Night, Parents’ Cybersecurity presentation,
Campus Beautification, Career Day, as well as  provide equipment and supplies
for the classroom, they have to raise FUNDS!

Please support the Dave & Buster’s Power Card fund raiser by purchasing
$10 and/or $20 Power Cards – a great gift for birthdays, graduation and
appreciation. Packets were distributed to all students but additional forms
may be picked up at the school main office (Bldg A, 2nd floor).

(See attached file: D&B Power Card PTSA Fundraiser)

Power Card order forms and payments will be due on April 18 in AA.  Pick
up of cards will be on April 27 at the KMS Market Day (more info about this
event will follow).

Mahalo from your KMS PTSA!

Let’s cheer on the KMS Speech Team as they compete in their final
tournament of the school year on Saturday, April 7 at the Punahou
Tabulated Speech Festival.

The Kawananakoa Band participated in the Punchbowl Ensemble
Festival on March 2, at Stevenson Middle School.  This joint event
with Stevenson MS and Central MS gave students the opportunity
to perform a short ensemble piece and then receive constructive
feedback from respected judges.  Fifty-seven KMS band students
earned scores high enough to be awarded medals.  Concert band
trumpet quartet (Dillon Ishimi, Abby Kiyosaki, Tyler Kuwabara,
and Austin Taniguchi) earned the only perfect score of the event.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Jason Chin, band director,
and his hard working students, on a job well done!

Please join our Kawananakoa Middle School band next week
as they join Stevenson MS and Central MS for the Annual Punchbowl
Band Festival.  There will be two nights of exciting music at the
Hawaii Theater from 6:30 pm.

Wednesday, April 11 – Advanced Bands
Thursday, April 12 – Beginning Bands
Admission is FREE
