TEACHERS’ WISH LIST – Help our teachers, help our students
Team 7A (Mr. Marlin, Ms. Togashi, Mr. Waterman-Reilly, and  Ms. Yamane) request donations of boxes of facial tissue (Kleenex, Scotties or other) as the flu and cold season approaches.

Please label all donations with your name and the name of the recipient, and then bring them to the school main office.  Mahalo!

MAHALO to the many business and community leaders who gave their valuable time and shared their expertise  with our 6th grade students at last week’s Career FairMayor Kirk Caldwell, media personality Billy V.Captain Alton Farm of Aloha Airlines, and Lauryn Chin of Ellemsee Media were just a few of the many friends of KMS who made the day so successful.

LOST AND FOUND items are piling up in the school main office – backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles, folders, sports items, jackets and more.  Please encourage your students to be more mindful of their personal items. If they have lost anything, please have them come to the school main office to determine if it has been found.

REFLECTION – “Unite for kindness, acceptance and Aloha!”

The Hawai’i DOE encourages students, families and staff to join a national movement for inclusive and nurturing learning environments for all.

In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month, the DOE distributed orange bracelets with the above message, to all students, faculty and staff, and asked them to wear it in a show of solidarity and support of  safe and caring schools for all students.

Go Orange!
