October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month.  KMS faculty and staff are all reminded to keep our student information safe and secure. Here are a few tips that  can help  all of us  keep our information secure:

  • Be cautious of emails asking you to update passwords, provide account information, or asking you to click on a link to an unfamiliar site.
  • Keep your passwords secure; do not share them with others or post them where others can see them.
  • Make sure your computers are up-to-date with security patches.
  • Keep your mobile devices safe by locking them with a password, PIN, or pattern security.
