NEW MASS MESSAGING SYSTEM
KMS is pleased to announce our transition to the SchoolMessenger
mass messaging system which allows for automated attendance messages
as well as safety alerts, school closures, and event reminders to be sent to
parents and guardians via phone, email and/or text message.

To ensure correct delivery of all school messages to you, please make
sure that your contact phone numbers and email addresses are kept
updated with our school registrar.

Parents may have already received an invitation to “opt in” on their mobile
phones to receive text messages.  The message should have read: “Hawaii
Department of Education messages.  Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 information.
Messages and data rates may apply.  Message frequently varies.
schoolmessenger.com/txt.”

If you did not reply “Y” to the above text message, but would now like to
opt-in for the text message alerts, please see the the attachment below
or go to DOE – Schoolmessenger to read more about the opt-in for
text messages.

TRAFFIC COURTESY – Drive with Aloha
Please help us keep all of our students safe by practicing alert and
courteous driving while dropping off and picking up your child. Please
remember:

  • Students should only be dropped off in one of the two designated

     drop off lanes.

  • Please do not drop off or pick up students on Funchal Street, Pauoa

      Road, or Nuuanu Avenue.

  • Be aware that students are in the vicinity when you are driving on and

      near the campus.

  • Please be patient and courteous toward other parents as they also

drop off or pick up their child from school.

  • All students waiting for parental pick up after school should wait

on the sidewalk fronting the cafeteria.

Thank you for your cooperation.
