STUDENT ID IS PART OF STUDENT SAFETY
Students must wear their KMS ID on a lanyard or clip at all times during school hours. The ID card must be visible (not hidden under a shirt or jacket) to help ensure that only authorized students are on our campus. This requirement is part of our school’s effort to keep our students safe.
Lost or damaged IDs must be replaced and can be purchased for $5.00 in the main office (Bldg A, 2nd floor). Replacement clips or lanyards can be purchased for $1.25 (please pay in cash only.)
Students who forget to bring their IDs to school should request a temporary ID card from the school office before school begins for the day.
Not wearing a school ID is considered a dress code violation andmay result in detention (see page 14 of the Student Planner).
