Manage your child's cafeteria account
Beginning January 22, all Hawaii public schools will begin transitioning to a new meal payment system. If you currently make online deposits to your child’s meal account, please be aware that as of January 22, you will not be able to continue online deposits and must make meal account deposits in cash, directly to our school clerk in the main office (Bldg A, second floor).
Kawananakoa is scheduled to be fully transitioned to the new system in early April. When this change is fully completed, families will once again be able to make deposits and check account balances online. Notice of a confirmed completion date will be announced in the KMS UPDATE.
A letter from the HIDOE announcing this system change was distributed to all students January 19, 2018. If your child did not share this letter with you, please see the attached copy. Mahalo for your patience and cooperation.
All students attending Kawananakoa Middle School are required to wear the school uniform effective the first day of school. Students are required to wear a uniform shirt and adhere to the requirements regarding pants, footwear, and outwear as listed below. This dress code policy applies at all times on campus (BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL) in buses, on field trips and other school-sponsored activities. Students must remain in uniform all day, including before and after school while they are on campus. In the event of a designated day or event in which the uniform is not required, the standard dress code applies.
